St. Patrick's Day came and went and I forgot to post the pictures from the Irish Festival in Old Town Alexandria. I kept thinking of Grandma Kerr and Kelly and their rendition of Smiling Irish Eyes. I got a St. Patrick's Day T-shirt and some festive necklaces from the dollar store. My friend, Scott, came with me and we watched the parade on a beautiful, sunny Saturday, walked all around Old Town Alexandria, had lunch and spent a couple hours perusing artist studios in The Torpedo Factory. It was an all-around great day!
